Is An Onlay Better Than A Crown?

The are significant differences among an Inlay, Onlay & Crown. An Onlay covers the tooth cusp but the inlay only fills parts of the cusps. Crowns cover the whole tooth structure above gum line. Onlay is more minimally invasive than Crown. The main advantage of Onlay over Crown is less amount of tooth structure is removed from natural tooth.
